Weekly Ride: 10 am Saturday at Wilder Ranch (and beyond)

Every Saturday since 1996.... give or take.

All rider levels are welcome. The pace depends on who shows up. Most of the regulars are intermediate and very social. If the group is large then we may split into a fast and slow group.

Meet at 10 am at the park sign at just north of the tunnel under Highway 1. The best way to get to the meeting spot is to park in the Wilder Ranch parking lot, walk your bike through the Ranch area, past the barn, chickens and garden, ride under the highway using the tunnel and you should see the park sign by the cattle gate.

The club ride is inclusive to all and is a great oportunity to meet local riders and enjoy the abundance of trails in our corner of the world.

The next ride will be . Check the weather since rain 48 hours before cancels the ride. Ride leader varies, e-mail Mark Davidson for more info.

Meet you at the park sign!

Monthly Ride: MBOSC and ROMP Second Sunday of the Month at Soquel Demonstration Forest

Grab that trailbike and trim your mullet! It's time to drag that big bike of yours up to the Santa Cruz mountains! It's the monthy ride at Soquel Demonstration Forest (a.k.a. SDF, a.k.a. Demo) with our friends in ROMP

All the rides at SDF are intermediate. There will be long climbs and fast descents. Full suspension recommended. Body armor is optional. We will still maintain a social pace with re-groups.

Route to be determined but we will probably do a couple of loops. There will be an opportunity to bail out after one loop.

Post ride lunch at the Summit Store is extremely likely.

Meet at 9:30 am on the second Sunday of the month.

Cross the bridge at Highland Road and meet at the inside parking lot. Car pooling is encouraged.

The next ride will be .

Ride leader: Daryl Breuninger

Monthy Meeting: Second Wednesday of the Month at Seabright Brewery

Come out to Seabright for a beer with some mountain bikers. Most of the time we have an agenda but high on the agenda is "What beer should we order?"

We usually discuss local mountain biking issues in the county.

Meet 7 pm on the second Wednesday of the month at Seabright Brewery. The next meeting will be

Monthly Trailwork: First Sunday of the Month

Since 1997, Mountain Bikers of Santa Cruz (MBOSC) has participated in trail work to maintain and enhance existing trails in Wilder the first Sunday of every month, rain or shine at 9:45 AM. Wilder Ranch waives all parking for trail crew volunteers.

Bring work gloves, long pants, long shirts, lunch, hat, water, and a great attitude. Additional workdays may be scheduled from time to time in Wilder Ranch and other Santa Cruz area parks. For more information or to sign up for the next trail workday, see the Trailworkers.com Wilder Ranch Page.

Do you want to do more trail work? Volunteers may also sign up for workdays around the county like Nisene Marks, Soquel Demo Forest and other places at Trailworkers.com.
