Saturday Ride at Wilder Ranch State Park

Every Saturday since 1996…. give or take. The next ride (weather permitting) is  at 10 AM.

All rider levels are welcome. The pace depends on who shows up. Most of the regulars are intermediate and very social. If the group is large then we may split into a fast and slow group. The route and total distance vary, but we typically do about 12 miles and around 1600 feet of climbing.

We would like to welcome beginner or slower mountain bikers on our monthly slow ride every 4th Saturday of the month. This ride will be at a more leisurely pace. We may not cover as many miles but it will be a beginner friendly ride. There will probably be an intermediate/advanced group for the regulars and fast people as well. The slow ride is beginner friendly but does require fitness and controlled off-road bike handling skills. The next slow ride will be .

Meet at 10 am at the park sign at just north of the tunnel under Highway 1. The best way to get to the meeting spot is to park in the Wilder Ranch parking lot, walk your bike through the Ranch area, past the barn, chickens and garden, ride under the highway using the tunnel and you should see the park sign by the cattle gate.

Helmets are required for all MBoSC rides.

You don’t have to be a member to ride. This is a great opportunity to meet local riders and enjoy the abundance of trails in our corner of the world.

Check the weather since rain 48 hours before cancels the ride. Ride leader varies, e-mail Mark Davidson () for more info.
